US Daily Insider

What’s Really Going On Behind the Headlines.

Corrections Policy

US Daily Insider aims to correct material errors promptly and transparently. Accuracy matters more than preserving the appearance that an article was perfect when first published.

What Counts as a Correction

A correction is appropriate when published material contains a meaningful factual error, misidentification, inaccurate quotation, incorrect date, number, attribution or other mistake that could change a reader’s understanding.

Updates vs. Corrections

A developing story may be updated when new facts emerge without the original reporting having been wrong. A correction addresses something that was materially inaccurate when published. Significant clarifications may also be labeled when wording was technically accurate but materially incomplete or misleading.

How Corrections Appear

Material corrections should be noted on the article. Minor spelling, punctuation, formatting or style fixes may be corrected without a formal note when they do not affect meaning.

Request a Correction

Use our Contact form, choose Correction, and include the article URL, the statement you believe is inaccurate, and any supporting information or source material.

We review good-faith correction requests regardless of whether the requester agrees with the article’s tone, analysis or conclusions.
