US Daily Insider

What’s Really Going On Behind the Headlines.

AI & Automation Policy

US Daily Insider may use artificial-intelligence tools to support newsroom workflows, but human editors remain accountable for everything we publish.

Permitted Uses

  • Brainstorming headlines, summaries, tags, social copy or internal-link suggestions.
  • Organizing notes, transcripts or source material supplied to the newsroom.
  • Assisting with formatting, coding, data cleanup or repetitive production tasks.
  • Generating internal drafts that are reviewed, edited and verified by a human before publication.

What AI Must Not Do

  • Invent quotes, sources, facts, eyewitness accounts or documents.
  • Replace human verification of material claims.
  • Impersonate a real person or present synthetic material as authentic reporting.
  • Make final editorial decisions about corrections, fairness, sourcing or publication.

Synthetic Images and Media

Materially synthetic or AI-generated visuals used in editorial contexts should be labeled when a reasonable reader could otherwise mistake them for documentary imagery.

Human Responsibility

Editors and authors—not software—are responsible for the accuracy, legality, fairness and presentation of published material.
